Job Details
  • Load and unload trucks, order picking, wrapping products, packing, labeling shipping and receiving.
  • Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on forklift.
  • Communicate with operators from other shifts.
  • Clean and maintain work area.
  • Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
  • Move waste from assembly line to dumpsters.
  • Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).
  • Operate forklift, trucks.
  • Complete daily logs.
  • Responsible for quality control. No damaged product is sent out. No damaged raw material is accepted in.
  • Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
  • Stage finished product for loading.
  • Load finished product onto truck, aircraft, and/or railcar.
  • Unload raw materials from truck, aircraft, and/or railcar.
  • Move raw materials to warehouse storage.
  • Perform data entry using automation and custom software
  • Responsible for the accuracy, efficiency and retrieval of data
  • Review material entered and generate data reports, as needed
  • Reviews discrepancies in data received, requests clarification or advises supervisor of issues related to data problems
  • Performs data verification requirements in accordance with Company procedures
  • Interacts with departmental and other staff on matters affecting data and makes recommendations for improvement or enhancement to job processes to ensure standards in data entry, collection and retrieval are accomplished
  • Perform other duties, as needed.
  • Must be an organized and self motivated individual with the ability to interface and function effectively in a high pressure multitasking environment while maintaining a professional demeanor with customers and team members.
  • Predictable and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.

Requirements


High School Diploma or GED equivalent acceptable. Minimum 1 year warehouse operations experience. Forklift experience required. Working knowledge of MS Word. Ability to lift up to 70 pounds without additional assistance. Familiarity with truck manifest, loading and unloading procedures, and reporting exceptions. Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends, when required. Self-starter, high energy, and upwardly motivated are preferred attributes. Ability to communicate well within all levels of the organization.
